Brief

Adam accepts briefs to advise and appear from solicitors, corporate and government entities. As a barrister, Adam cannot be directly engaged by lay clients.

Legal aid

Adam is on the Legal Services Commission panel for general, civil and family law matters funded under legal aid, and where an order is made for funding under the Family Violence and Cross-Examination of Parties Scheme purusant to section 102NA of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth).

Adam is able to be briefed as counsel for the Independent Children’s Lawyer (ICL) in family law matters, and in Guardianship and Mental Health Representation matters.

Please note that trial dates will not be confirmed until the committment certificate is provided.

Brief of documents

Briefs are preferred in electronic format. PDF documents should be indexed/bookmarked, paginated, text searchable, and compressed in size.

Documents can be sent by cloud file sharing services including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive,Mimecast, SigBox or other file sharing service.

Please avoid emailing attachments larger than 10MB.

Trial documents for tendering and witnesses must be provided in hardcopy.

Mediation

Adam can be engaged as a mediator by parties to a dispute through a joint letter of instruction from their legal representatives.

Adam accepts direct engagements as a mediator from parties through his mediation practice at All Mediations.
